2004–2006: a network becomes visible
The earliest catalogued CAIRN material is a network page on which ISI-CNV and Dr. Marco Paret appear in the France–Italy section, with Paret presented as webmaster and as a trainer in hypnosis, NLPIII and psychotherapy (CAIRN-2004-NETWORK). In the same period a Thesis Supervision Board page lists him for NLPIII and hypnotherapy under ISI-CNV Italy, beside Prof. Ian Clegg of Swansea, Prof. Antonio Guerci of Genoa and Prof. Robert Steichen of Louvain (CAIRN-2004-DOCTORATE). Draft statutes of 2005–06 place ISI-CNV, Nice, among the network organizations (CAIRN-2005-DRAFTSTATUTES).
The list of signatories in the surviving regulations carries the date 25 December 2006, later revised in December 2008 (CAIRN-2008-MOU).
2007–2009: the consortium at its most documented
The richest surviving source is the upgraded MoU and Regulations, headed for the period 2007–09 and updated on 15 December 2008. It defines the consortium by agreement rather than by a single legal seat, sets out committees including an Executive Board, and defines six member statuses. In its list of members, under France (Italy), it records ISI-CNV — Marco Paret — EXE/FO — NLPIII, hypnotherapy, quantum psychology (CAIRN-2008-MOU). The companion Consortium and Human Resources page of the same date indicates Paret as EXE / Marketing for France–Italy and as webmaster (CAIRN-2008-CONSORTIUM).
A partner page upgraded on 1 March 2009 describes CAIRN as a non-profit organisation and higher-education and training provider and names the ISI-CNV Institute in Nice among its affiliated institutions (CAIRN-2009-VALCROS). The same circle of material names the Valcros Raven Retreat of 2008–2009 in connection with William René Leon, Tibetan teachers and Dr. Paret (CAIRN-2012-AVALON).
2012–2015: continuity and a correction
The Avalon / Verdon material was still being updated in July 2012, naming the same people and programmes (CAIRN-2012-AVALON). On 30 December 2013 Leon wrote to Paret that they were rebooting the CAIRN Professional Doctorate School, with research and development activity for 2014 and limited annual training events in the Nice area, with Paret as partner (MAIL-2013-12-30-REBOOT). It is the central document of continuity in the archive: nine years after the first network pages, the founder of the consortium was planning its next phase with the same Nice partner.
On 22 August 2015 Leon circulated an upgrading of the CAIRN Professional Doctorate School, together with its Executive, Advisory and Honorary board structure, addressing the message to Paret among the recipients (MAIL-2015-08-22-BOARD). Seven years after the regulations of 2008, the school was still being developed and Paret was still among those to whom its development was communicated.
2018: the last documented exchange
On 6 February 2018 Leon wrote that he would study, edit and give feedback on Paret's material once in Kathmandu, and asked him to keep sending it (MAIL-2018-02-06-COLLAB). Fourteen years after the earliest catalogued page, the working relationship was still active, and still running between Nice and Kathmandu.
2026: the sources go offline
Every public CAIRN page in this catalogue was hosted on Tripod, which Lycos closed on 24 April 2026 after thirty-one years. The pages themselves survive, preserved in the Internet Archive and catalogued here with their captures. This archive exists to keep them findable: an index and commentary layer that points to the originals rather than replacing them.
