{"id":1750,"date":"2016-07-24T09:45:36","date_gmt":"2016-07-24T09:45:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/?page_id=1750"},"modified":"2016-07-24T11:15:41","modified_gmt":"2016-07-24T11:15:41","slug":"one-minute-may-save-a-life","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/one-minute-may-save-a-life\/","title":{"rendered":"One Minute May Save a Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #a30000; font-size: 18pt;\">UNIVERSITE&#8217; EUROPEENNE &#8211; International Training Academy &#8211; announced the deployment of the European Project &#8220;A minute can save a life&#8221; (October 1, 2015 &#8211; September 30, 2017) &#8211; Erasmus KA2 Cooperation for innovation and sharing best practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0086bf; font-size: 14pt;\">Strategic partnerships for education\/training for emergency service 112.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\" ffhead4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.survio.com\/survey\/d\/J5H6R7S2F6I7W1Q2X\" target=\"_blank\">Click HERE<\/a><\/span><\/span> to fill in the Questionnaire for dispatchers.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1753\" src=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/ommsal.jpg\" alt=\"ommsal\" width=\"960\" height=\"678\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/ommsal.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/ommsal-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/ommsal-768x542.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The project\u2019s objectives are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist greencheck3\">\n<li>The development and implementation of innovative practices in 112 dispatching services.<\/li>\n<li>Obtaining basic competences in field of emergency services and several transversal competences in\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">IT, communication in a foreign language, and of team working.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The increase of 112 dispatching services\u2019 efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>The development of 112 dispatchers\u2019 abilities to listen, intervene and analyze the conversation with\u00a0the caller to identity false 112 calls.<\/li>\n<li>The improvement of 112 dispatchers\u2019 capacity to optimize the analysis of nature of the calls, for<br \/>\neffectively directing and transmitting the emergency calls to the intervention team.<\/li>\n<li>The improvement of inter-institutional cooperation of the involved actors: caller.<\/li>\n<li>112 dispatcher intervention\u00a0team (physician, fireman; mountain rescuer).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\"><strong>The project proposed by partners is highly innovative<\/strong>, due to the fact that, as a consequence of its\u00a0implementation, it shall result <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">a training course containing eclectic and holistic specificities of approaching the psychological mechanisms of response to emergency situations and the strategies of communicating with the caller, and, especially, the identification of increased number of false calls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\">The development of the training course shall be based on innovative learning methods &#8211; interactivity;<br \/>\nrole play; case studies; aquarium technique; practice and case studies every 40 minutes of theoretical<br \/>\nstudies; beneficiaries\u2019 development of skills and habits regarding the impact of emergency situations;<br \/>\nbeneficiaries\u2019 development of emotional ability to understand cognitive, emotional and behavioral<br \/>\nprocesses; continuous assessment. Moreover, the intervention during the training course<br \/>\ndevelopment and its testing by experts that deal daily with emergency situations (e.g. SMURD<br \/>\nFoundation&#8217;s recue experts), by practical simulations, combining the experience of the two categories<br \/>\nof experts (trainers and rescuers), entails the creation and the implementation of a heterogeneous<br \/>\nand practical, objectives-oriented training course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\">The training structure and the modules shall be prepared by combining the expertise and various<br \/>\nexperiences and practices of certain experts in Europe, i.e. Romania, Italy, UK and Cyprus, who will<br \/>\nwork together, will exchange good practices and will contribute to achieving and testing the training<br \/>\ncourse, but also the dissemination and transfer of results after completing the project.<\/p>\n<div class=\"section group\">\n<div class=\"col span_4_of_12\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1756\" src=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/112.png\" alt=\"112\" width=\"225\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/112.png 225w, https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/112-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col span_8_of_12\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1755\" src=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/isicnv412.png\" alt=\"isicnv412\" width=\"263\" height=\"104\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1754\" src=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/erasmus.jpg\" alt=\"erasmus\" width=\"589\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/erasmus.jpg 589w, https:\/\/www.neurolinguistic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/erasmus-300x86.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 589px) 100vw, 589px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Likewise, the project is innovative by its results:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist plusgreen\">\n<li>A\u00a0mini-guideline of good practices.<\/li>\n<li>Psychological methods and support techniques for 112\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">dispatchers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>An e-learning platform destined to be used by the dispatchers involved in answering and managing<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">the 112 calls, which will ensure a continuous learning among partners, target group, and other\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">players involved in the rescue process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\" ffbox fftip\"><strong>The platform will be a major source for developing the competences of 112 dispatchers, of study\u00a0cases \/ learning materials, during the project implementation and subsequent to its completion,\u00a0providing continuity and sustainability of the project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"fspbanner fspdarkblue\">\n<h3 class=\"softshadow\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">RESULTS<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bannerbtmarrow\"><span style=\"display: none;\">.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Apart from the intellectual outputs (detailed in intellectual outputs section) resumed as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist greencheck3\">\n<li>Training course (resulting from the analyses, research studies, interim reports, case studies of each\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">partner and common ones) &#8211; designated to ensure support for the dispatchers of 112;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Mini-guide of good practices \u201cmethods and technics for psychological support of dispatchers of\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">112\u201d;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>E-learning platform &#8211; will provide the target group, but also other stakeholder (para-physicians,\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">physicians, firemen), with the possibility to benefit of the up-to-date training course, materials and to\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">capture knowledge.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We expect other results, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist greencheck3\">\n<li>Improved competences and abilities of the 112 dispatchers in identifying false calls as a result of\u00a0training course and exchange of good practices, transfer of knowledge between the partners and\u00a0target group\/ other stakeholders (ambulance, fire protection departments, emergency departments\u00a0of hospitals, recue mountain departments);<\/li>\n<li>Improved linguistic and IT skills of target groups and indirect beneficiaries;<\/li>\n<li>Developing capacity of managing EU projects, and motivating the partners to realize other Erasmus+\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">projects;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Management strategy, plan and reports of the project;<\/li>\n<li>Quality and evaluation reports concerning work progress and achievements;<\/li>\n<li>Dissemination strategy, plan, reports and dissemination materials (e.g. newsletters, press release,\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">articles in specialized publications, multiplier events).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\"><strong>The distribution of tasks and activities is based on each partner\u2019s expertise as detailed in the\u00a0<\/strong><strong>project.<\/strong> Summarizing, the responsibilities between the partners are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist greencheck3\">\n<li>Ro-coordinating partner will ensure the development and testing the training course and creation of\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">e-learning platform;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>SUMRD (Ro partner), Italian, Cypriot and UK partners will ensure selection of the target group;<\/li>\n<li>Italian partner will lead the development of mini-guide of good practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\">In particular, the Ro-coordinating partner will be responsible for the overall: project management (preparation, monitoring and quality management; risk management; evaluation; project\u2019s follow-up; dissemination and projects sustainability). But, all partners will be involved in each of these phases\/activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\"><strong>The communication between the partners<\/strong> will be ensured based on a communication plan agreed<br \/>\nby the partners, designated to ensure continuous, efficient and qualitative communication. The<br \/>\npartners will use specific communication methods\/ instruments, as such:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"flexlist greencheck3\">\n<li>Meetings through web conferences (using, skype\/ messenger tools) once a month, during the entire\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">period of the project;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Communicate via e-mail, telephone, facebook dedicated group, draw-box, whenever will be\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">necessary.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\"><strong>Indirect participants who will benefit of the project\u2019s activities<\/strong> are para-physicians, physicians, firemen, ambulance and emergency staff, in charge with second tier of the emergency rescue chain (having direct link with injured persons) that will use the e-learning platform and benefit from the training course, materials, case studies uploading on this platform; as well as participation to multiplier events. We estimate an approximate number of total 2000 indirect participants from all partners\u2019 countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 175%;\">The direct beneficiaries of the project are 112 dispatchers selected by each partner either from the<br \/>\ncentral structure and regional dispatching services.
